Before you buy secondhand
A good price does not automatically mean a good purchase. Check the listing itself before sending any money.
A guide price, not a fixed rule

Can you see every minifigure?
Look for a clear photo showing all included minifigures and their accessories. Exclusive figures can account for a large part of a set’s value.
Is there visible sun damage?
Check white, grey and light-coloured pieces for yellowing, fading or uneven colour. Compare areas that may have faced a window with sheltered sections.
Can you verify genuine LEGO parts?
Zoom in on a few clear close-ups and look for a readable LEGO logo on studs or internal markings. Not every genuine piece has an obvious mark, so check more than one.
